BUSINESS BROKER
Training Programs for RE Agencies / Brokers or
Agents
|
From Scott Radin -
Owner - Founder - Training of Business
Broker Training Center - Business brokering is
NOT the same as commercial real estate brokering
because business brokers almost always deal with the
CONFIDENTIAL sale of existing businesses to
qualified buyers. Real estate professionals use MLS
and other public postings. From this perspective, they are
total opposites. AND 95% of the businesses that you
will sell DO NOT have real estate attached and
generally go untouched by real estate
professionals. |
|
THE
DIFFERENCE - between business brokering and
real estate brokering... |
The biggest
difference is confidentiality. Business
owners hire a business broker to protect the
confidentiality of the transaction. The
process involved in listing and marketing a
confidential sale is total opposite of that
which occurs in the real estate process.
There are numerous confidentiality based
forms and buyer qualifications that are
involved in selling a business.
